Seminar on Green Marketing ‘A Changing Paradigm in Contemporary Marketing’
A seminar was conducted to promote the concept of Green Marketing that is the need of hour. Around 163 students plus teachers participated in the seminar and presented their views about the concept of Green Marketing.
Workshop on Trade Marks
A workshop on Trademarks was conducted on 23-09-2015 by Prof Vrajesh Sharma from Regional Centre, Panjab University, Hoshiarpur. Nearly 100 students from the Deptt. Of commerce and computer Science participated in the workshop. The resource person explained to the students about the Trade Mark law and practices.
Workshop on SPSS
A workshop on SPSS was conducted by Dr. R.K. Soni on 17th March, 2017 to make students aware about the usage of SPSS software in order to promote Research, students of M.Com, B.B.A participated in the workshop, and approximately 70 students participated in the workshop and learnt how to use SPSS
Workshop on How to Start Up a New Venture
Department of Commerce and Business Management, Arya College organised one day workshop on How to start up a new venture to acquaint the students about the experience of renowned and experienced Mr Anil Kumar, Executive Director and CEO Shreyans Industries Ltd. The main focus of the workshop was to motivate the students to be Entrepreneurs. Around 80 students from the department of Commerce participated in the workshop.
Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program
PG Department of Commerce and Business Management, Arya College organised one Entrepreneurial Skill Development Program to acquaint the students about the experience of Young Entrepreneurs who have excelled in their lives with their start-ups and motivated the students to intake the real life experiences of these young entrepreneurs for their future life endeavours.
Mr. Hardik Dutta (VP & Co. Founder of Hum Hain – a delivery service company), Mrs. Heena Nagi (CEO of Heena Nagi Makeup Artistry) and Mr. Akhil Gupta (Financial Advisor and Entrepreneurship Development Trainer) were the Resource Persons. Approximately 100 students participated in the event.
